WOW!!! Can you believe it? It is 2018. Time seems to go by faster with each passing year. Life in 2018 is busy and can be overwhelming for many of us. Most of us do not know how to slow down. We find ourselves running in circles, chasing that perfect job, a higher degree, or more money. The interesting thing is that many times when we reach these goals we still are not satisfied. Instead we begin to look for the next thing to chase. In the end we find ourselves both physically and mentally exhausted.
Make 2018 different. Find small ways each week to bring calm into your life. There are many ways to help center yourself and bring a sense of peace into your daily life. There are wonderful meditation apps that you can download on your phone for free. I challenge you to take a moment to download one and start small. Do a two minute meditation two to three times a week.
If you love books buy a book and read for a few minutes each week. Maybe you would like a soaking bath, or a simple Epson Salt foot soak.
Find what relaxes you and make yourself a priority. You will find that when you take even a small amount of time to let your body rest that you will begin feel more energized, and positive. I pray that 2018 is a blessed year for you all.
